NO TAX RATE INCREASE!

The Angleton ISD Board of Trustees lowered the tax rate in August 2022. The tax rate dropped 3.74 cents, bringing the new rate to $1.2296. New state law requires all school bond ballots to include the language, “THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE.” However, passage of the bond proposition for AISD will not result in an increase in the property tax rate.
